Многофункциональный аудио-плеер и менеджер аудио-файлов, написанный на языке Java. aTunes воспроизводит форматы MP3, OGG, WMA, WAV, FLAC и MP4, позволяет пользователям редактировать тэги, организовывать музыкальные файлы, имеющиеся на компьютере, и копировать музыку с Audio-CD. C помощью aTunes можно каталогизировать всю музыку, сортируя ее по артисту, альбому или жанру, представляя информацию в виде иерархического списка. Программа позволяет получить быстрый доступ к определенному артисту или альбому. Навигацию по каталогу можно производить с помощью обложек альбомов. Информацию об артистах программа может искать в Интернете: на сайтах YouTube, Google Video, Wikipedia и других. Позволяет обновлять ваш профиль на сайте Last.fm, записывая в него песню, которая проигрывается в данный момент. aTunes ведет полную статистику: проигранные песни, песни, которые никогда не проигрывались, наиболее часто включаемая композиция, артист или альбом, последний день, когда проигрывались файлы.

• aTunes includes a cd ripper tool, using cdda2wav, lame, flac and oggenc. Just put an audio cd on your computer, and select “Import CD” in the “Tools” menu. You can select which tracks rip, and get track names and cover automatically from Amazon.
